The UWM Innovation Accelerator is a facility designed to foster collaborations between academia and Industry. It is home to one of the most advanced proto-typing centers in the Midwest. Our engineers and machinists work on a fee for service basis to help startups and large companies alike design and fabricate devices or parts that they need for their products.

The Master of Science in Applied Biotechnology is 100% online and an ideal choice for busy adults who are seeking advanced education and need the flexibility an online program offers. Courses provide students with a solid foundation in biotechnology, leadership, ethics, research, communications, product development, quality control, and regulatory and compliance practices. Through specialization tracks in Quality Assurance and Compliance, Business Management, or Research and Development students can focus on developing those skills most relevant to their career goals. An additional option is the Graduate Certificate in Applied Bioinformatics; a four course fully online certificate program that focuses on processing biological data from scientific research. Both programs offer students the flexibility to start any semester and formulate a completion plan that considers personal time constraints such as work and family obligations.
