Involta plans to expand on the existing 24.5 acre site to create a campus with up to 20 megawatts of capacity. The Involta SecurePower colocation model provides mission-critical data center space to support the needs and performance requirements of high-tech industries with the colocation and services needed for enterprise workloads and AI applications. In addition, the location's proximity is highly desirable for edge deployments, in which Involta is considered a tier-two market pioneer.

“The Green Bay market is a sought-after region across our portfolio of enterprise clients spanning healthcare organizations, manufacturers and financial institutions,” said Bruce Lehrman, founder and vice chairman of the board of directors for Involta. “As this market continues to grow, our evolving footprint in this vibrant region will deliver the capacity, fiber infrastructure and hybrid IT services required to support high-performance compute for the most demanding and complex regulated industries.”The investment is the largest to date for Involta which has 12 other data center locations in the United States."It’s our first double-digit data center campus investment, and the New North region is the ideal location to expand our footprint on a very large scale. We are excited to build and strengthen our relationships across the markets in this vibrant area, including Madison and Milwaukee. This unique project also emphasizes our dedication to innovation, delivering more tech-driven opportunities to the area with the expanded capacity, scalability and fiber infrastructure to support high-performance compute, private cloud, edge and secure interconnectivity," said Brandon Yansky, vice president of new markets at Involta.Officials said moderate temperatures, attractive tax incentives and the recent designation of Wisconsin as an official Regional Tech Hub helped spur the investment.“We’re looking forward to welcoming Involta into the New North region and stimulating growth across key sectors with the data center capacity and expertise needed to enable modern business technology advancements. Involta’s dedication to the communities it serves, combined with sustainability efforts and entrepreneurial spirit, closely align with New North's mission," said Barb LaMue, President and CEO of New North, the 18-county regional economic development corporation across Northeast Wisconsin:
