Madison ranked No. 2 midsized metro for STEM professionals
Madison is the second-best midsized metro where STEM professionals like AI developers, scientists and engineers can find opportunities and wages, according to a new study from CoworkingCafe.
The study evaluated cities based on metrics such as STEM job availability, average income and unemployment rate and sourced its data from the Census Bureau and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Metros were divided into three population categories: large (1 million residents or more), midsized (500,000 to 999,000 residents) and small (200,000 to 499,000 residents).
